The C.A.R.E. (Connecticut Aquatic Resources Education) Fishing Program and Miss Judy are offering a free class that introduces you and your family and friends to the wonders of water, fish and fishing. The C.A.R.E. program has taught over 150,000 people since 1986. Miss Judy and other state certified volunteer instructors will pass along the information and expertise that they have gained.
The class makes use of DVDs, demonstrations, and activities to explain where to fish, how to identify fish, what bait to use, practice casting, and safety around the water. This all day class for individuals and families with children that are 9-years and older offers a classroom introduction in the morning to get you ready for the fishing practice held in the afternoon. Bring your own lunch to enjoy between the class and the practice. Registration is required by Monday, May 26th.
